Lucas Novak

Originally from the greater ranges of Central New Jersey, Lucas has followed a path that led him to the volcanic promised land of Central Oregon. Somewhere in between he completed a graduate degree in theology, worked as a hospital chaplain, and cut his teeth as a climber on the rocks and mountains of Colorado. He has enjoyed climbing destinations both popular and obscure throughout the US and Europe. Now in Bend, OR with his wife, their dog, and two cats, Lucas feels most at home attached to a rope attached to a mountain, making obscure pop-culture references, and sharing the excitement and learning that the mountains bring to each of us.
