Lucas Novak

Originally from the greater ranges of Central New Jersey, Lucas has followed a path that has led him to the volcanic promised land of Central Oregon. Somewhere in between he went to graduate school for theology, worked as a hospital chaplain, and cut his teeth as a climber on the rocks and in the mountains of Colorado. His climbing has since brought him to popular and obscure places alike throughout the US and Europe. Now in Bend, OR with his wife Nancy, their dog, and two cats, Lucas feels most at home attached to a rope attached to a mountain, making obscure pop-culture references, and sharing the excitement and learning the mountains bring to each of us.
