Peak Descents and Traverses

Mount Hood
(1 Day)
Several challenging lines descend the upper parts of Oregon's highest mountain. Descents like Wy'East, The Old Chute or Leuthold's Couloir are worthy objectives for strong skiers.
Offered: This program can be scheduled at any time during the viable ski season.
Cost: $275 per skier for a group of 2 or more, includes snow cat transportation.

Mount Hood Ski Circumnavigation
(1 Day)
Oregon's own one day Haute Route. From a snow cat ride to 8500' we circle the mountain between 7500' and 9600'crossing several glaciers and ridges. This is full-on ski mountaineering using ropes, crampons, and ice axes to navigate challenging terrain.

Mount Adams
(2 Days)
Summer cornskiing on this high peak provides some of the longest ski descents in the lower 48.
Offered: June 7-8. This program can be scheduled at any time during the viable ski season.
Cost: $500 per skier for a group of 2 or more.

South Sister
(1 Day)
This is a classic ski descent of only moderate difficulty.

South and Middle Sister Traverse
(3 Days)
Combining the summits of these two Oregon giants is an awesome ski trip. Blending relatively moderate levels of mountaineering and tons of skiing, this trip is an excellent choice for those folks with more skiing experience than climbing. There are a few times where we may break out the rope, ice axe and crampons, but no previous mountaineering experience is necessary. Backcountry experience skiing with a pack is a required prerequisite for this program.

Three Sisters Traverse
(3 Days)
For the experienced backcountry skier and climber, this traverse is the cream of the crop! Oregon's most difficult skiing/climbing objective is phenomenal, and our most demanding traverse. Requiring a solid mountaineering skill-set as well as backcountry skiing experience, this is a highly sought after objective. Climbing and skiing with an overnight pack is a prerequisite for this trip.

Three Sisters Spring Ski Camp
(3 Days)
With the wealth of skiable lines in the Three Sisters Wilderness, it's hard to know where to begin! We'll ski in to establish camp and make daily forays out to seek the best conditions in the area. This trip differs from our traverses in that we will be operating out of a base camp.
