Mountaineering

North Cascades

The North Cascades is one of the most majestic ranges anywhere. Huge tumbling ice falls give way to soaring peaks. Climbing in the range requires significant experience in snow, ice and rock climbing. Climbing here also requires the willingness to embark on challenging travel in the mountains but the rewards are many; pristine peaks rising above glaciers, exposed ridge climbing on perfect granite, and camping among the most rugged mountains in the lower 48 states. This trip is made possible through a special arrangement with Cascade Alpine Guides.

Circumnavigation and Climb of Eldorado Peak

In this 4 day trip in the Eldorado Area of the North Cascades we climb Eldorado Peak via its East Ride or NE Face as well as circumnavigate the entire peak. We will have time for one other bigger climb, and there are many choices. Dorado Needle, Early Morning Spire, and Austera Peak are some of the fantastic choices for climbs in the area. The trip will leave the area by way of Triad Col , which has some exciting climbing in itself. The itinerary for this trip will be customized according to the group’s abilities and climbing goals.
