South Spur Route (2 days)

Join us for an amazing climb of Mt. Adams during the height of the volcano climbing season. After meeting at the Cold Springs Campground at 5600', we will establish camp at the popular Lunch Counter (9250') by the end of the first day. We will then wake early for an alpine start on the morning of the second day. After reaching the summit (12,276'), the group will descend to our camp at the Lunch Counter, break camp, and then descend to the trailhead. Use of an ice axe and crampons will be necessary. Previous experience is required for this strenuous trip.

Offered: June 7-8, 2010. Additional dates arranged on request.
Ratio: 4:1
Cost: $500 per climber in groups of 2 or more.
